KMC ID

Selects the radio's Key Manager Controller (KMC) ID, thus allowing the radio to be uniquely identified by the KMC. Each radio in a system should have a unique KMC ID, allowing each radio to communicate MDC OTAR (Over-The-Air-Rekeying) commands to and from the KMC on an individual basis. This feature applies to secure encrypted mode MDC OTAR communications.

When the Secure Operation field is set to "Hardware" and

when the OTAR Enable field is enabled, and

when the MDC OTAR Enable field is enabled, and

when the radio is model / option capable.
